My Hormone Journey
I'm 50, fully menopausal, on BHRT, and still optimizing my hormones.
I lead with that because I think you deserve to know who you're actually working with.
Over the last three years I've gone through four providers, protocols that tanked my levels, delivery methods my body didn't absorb, and a histamine response that left me covered in eczema for months. I researched, pushed back, advocated for myself, and stayed the course every single time.
Today my hormone levels aren't perfect on paper. But my energy is great, my sleep is phenomenal, and I genuinely feel like myself...maybe better than I have in years.
It is possible to feel like yourself again in midlife. I know because I'm living it. And I've watched woman after woman come in so exhausted and disconnected from herself that she's forgotten what feeling good even means. That's not something you just accept. That's something we address.
My Approach
Here's what most people aren't connecting: hormones don't work in a vacuum.
Your gut has an entire ecosystem called the estrobolome, responsible for how your estrogen is metabolized and absorbed. Your minerals are the spark plugs for every reaction in your body. When either is off, nothing works efficiently. Not your hormones, not your energy, not your metabolism.
This is why my work starts with foundations. Gut health, mineral status, blood sugar handling, functional lab review. All of it before we ever talk about what to add or adjust. Because replacing hormones on a shaky foundation is like renovating a house with a cracked structure.
I can't prescribe hormones. But I can educate you, help you understand your labs, and make sure you walk into every provider appointment knowing exactly what you need..

My Philosophy
I use functional lab testing to understand what's actually going on inside your body. Not just what's "within normal range" but what's optimal for you specifically.
Real, whole foods are the foundation. Not fad diets, not elimination protocols for their own sake. Just nutrient-dense eating that supports your hormones, your gut, and your energy.
Your symptoms aren't the problem. They're information. My job is to help you understand what they're telling us and address what's driving them.
I'm not here to hand you a meal plan and send you on your way. I'm here to help you understand your body well enough that you don't need me forever.

BEYOND THE CREDENTIALS
When I'm not doing this, I'm in New Jersey with my husband, our black lab, and two cats. Our boys are both in college — one soaking up the sun at the University of Arizona, one freezing at the University at Buffalo — which means we've officially entered our empty nest era.
We travel as much as we can and spend a lot of time hiking in Arizona (hence the mountains on the homepage). When we're home I'm reading, lifting weights (because these muscles don't build themselves), or binge watching tv with my husband.
You've been dealing with this long enough.
Let's figure out what's actually going on.
